Originally shaped by photographs of a soldier diving from a burning armoured vehicle, Man on Fire refers not only to troops fighting on the frontline, but also to every innocent civilian man, woman and child caught between warring factions. Conflicts in Ukraine, Israel, Palestine and other countries around the world testify to the true horror of war and the tragic fact that we do not learn from history.
